Clearly Education's Head Office team is based in St Albans. It was founded by an ex-Headteacher and a school governor to supply staff to local primary schools. Over the years St Albans have expanded and now cover multiple sectors of education. The St Albans office itself is situated at the outskirts of town, and is easily accessible by car or bus.

Branch Manager

Mel originally trained as a teacher and holds a Bed Honours in Education Studies from the University of Hertfordshire. As part of her university degree she completed several teaching placements in local Hertfordshire schools. She first started working as an Education Consultant back in 2007 and hasn’t looked back since! She now heads up the St Albans branch, still supporting local schools but from a slightly different perspective.



Senior Education Consultant

Maria has over 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, covering education as well as other sectors. She started working as an Education Consultant in 2010 where she progressed to be the senior consultant for St Albans, with a particular focus on supporting the local primary schools. Alongside her work at Clearly she is also a safe space mentor for children aged between eleven and nineteen in Hertfordshire.



Education Consultant

Bridget worked in the City of London after graduating from university with a degree in History & Politics and became a proof-reader for Linklaters law firm. After three years, she decided to embark on a PGCE and taught in secondary schools in London and Hertfordshire, as a History and English teacher. She has 20 years under her belt as a Head of Department for History. She became Lead Mentor for PGCE & NQTs. She loves to read, especially autobiographical material and anything historical. A soprano in choirs at school and university. Passionate about politics, yoga and walking!
